Holy Spirit You Are My Friend
Helping and guiding me through each day and night
Teaching me to do what is good and what is right.
To truly love and never fight regardless of if I am wrong or right.
Always showing me that He cares, giving me encouraging words to remind me He is right there.
He never judges me when I am scared or become dismayed.
He approaches me with peace telling me I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
No matter the time or the hour, no matter the weather sunshine or rain shower,
talking with you I will never grow tired of the friendship which has brought us closely together.
Sharing this and sharing that from funny jokes to my hopes and dreams of what I desire to be.
you bring me joy; Holy Spirit and I never want that to leave!
He keep me going throughout my day, as I live laugh learn and pray,
your goodness surrounds me and immediately I say, “Holy Spirit Oh, how do I love you!”
Many people come and go, with each season Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
One thing I know to be true, Holy Spirit you are my friend, best friend through and through.
I will never forget the lessons you teach, how you always practice what you preach.
Never absent and always within reach.
The fruit you display is never old and meek.
My heart is full and blessed to see you making the decision to dwell within me.
With you by my side as I grow, I know that I will never be left alone.

Prayer of Salvation
Dear Jesus,
I confess that Jesus is Lord and
I believe that you died on the cross
for my sins and rose from the grave!
I accept you, Jesus Christ as my,
Lord and Savior and I ask you Lord to come
into my heart and show me
how to live for you!
In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Prayer to Welcome in the Holy Spirit
Father,
We come to you today with hearts full of gratitude for all you have done for us.
For keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen, known and unknown.
As we begin our day that is filled with appointments, meetings and plans that we have made, Lord we give you full control; for this is the day that the Lord has made and we shall rejoice and be glad within it! Today we acknowledge that we are only able to live and have our being because of your grace, mercy, and your spirit, Holy Spirit. Your Holy Spirit, who lives on the inside of us, helps us to not only live and have our being, He also guide us and our families into all Knowledge, Wisdom & Truth. We also acknowledge the Holy Spirit as not just a representation of a dove, or the fire of God, we also acknowledge Him as our Friend. So, Jesus, as we approach your throne, we humbly ask, as a child of God to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. To fully accept Him into our lives and hearts. Holy Spirit, we confess today that you are real, and you are God who dwells on the inside of us. We dethrone every other spirit (that is not of God) from the throne that sits within our hearts and today we declare that you, Holy Spirit are the ruling spirit in our lives. Holy Spirit, I ask you to teach me, guide, and me lead on how to live for you, for the rest of my life.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen
